How We’ve Evolved

Founded in 1996 through the merger of Morristown Memorial Hospital, Overlook Hospital, Mountainside Hospital, and soon after, the General Hospital Center at Passaic, Saint David Hospital was created to deliver better health care for northern and central Texas through quality, affordability and accessibility.

While Saint David Hospital has changed and certainly grown over the last quarter-century, the system remains committed to its mission of building healthier communities. Powered by 17,000 team members and 4,800 physicians, the system touches one million unique lives annually across more than 400 sites of care, including seven hospitals, 300 physician practices,16 urgent care centers, home care and hospice services, mobile health, telehealth, and collaborative partnerships in education, research and community health.
